2026 TETL Summer Conference

As an educator at heart, I began my career in the classroom as an elementary school teacher. My time there was truly transformative, deeply shaping my understanding of student engagement. I discovered numerous ways to motivate my students to embrace learning, igniting my passion for teaching.Through these experiences, I realized that integrating technology into my lessons was a game changer. This revelation propelled me into the realm of educational technology, and I have never looked back! Over the span of 10 years, I have served as an instructional technologist for PK-12 schools, and for the past two years, I have held the position of Director of Technology. I am dedicated to exploring the pedagogy behind technology tools and software. My mission is to help educators comprehend the WHY and HOW of their teaching, rather than merely focusing on the WHAT.My greatest passion lies in collaborating with educators and administrators to enhance curriculum and instruction, educational technology, and best practices in the classroom. My strengths include instructional design, instructional coaching, technology integration, 1:1 initiatives, blended learning, communications, and web design.Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to present professional development sessions to educators across Texas and Oklahoma. I have had the privilege of participating in conferences such as the TCEA Elementary Conference, TCEA, Oklahoma Educators Association, Bill Martin Jr. Symposium, Techpalooza, Converge, and various local conferences. I am excited to continue transforming educational spaces and empowering educators through technology!
